Italia I - Mestre/Venezia avec Sasa, Angela, Priscilla et Philippo
Welcome to magical Venezia :)
taking the train from Les Arcs-Draguignan (Camille hometown).
Luca seemed very happy, he was less once in the train in Nice
giving us a hard sleeping night while toothing...
not nice for our elderly neighbours hum hum !
and see the fort Marghera
Look at the beautiful "FORCOLA"to hold the paddle
Attention, dangerous ground...
with an excellent (homegrown) zucchini pastas,
another comfort after the effort :)
very nice asparagus pasticio from Angela's mum,
anchovies by Sasa and proseccio by Sasa and Angela !
To Angela,
the empty place where it used to be a beautiful vegetable stall :(
And then the magical Venezia started...
in a little traditional barca, with beautiful colours,
from Stefano and friend, manoeuvered with brio by our master Angela,
we flew in the silence (almost, as Stefano was shouting in Italian most of the time)
in the canals and meandering around...
(I have heard that for new years eve,
Italians wear red underwear... they dry it in summer then ;)
very little street
Another barca (the green, Stefano's is the blue one),
other friends... it is incredible how Venezia is a small town
WHY the white stones within the brick walls ???
(one of the other ten thousand silly questions
we asked Angela and Sasa about Venezia)
White step at each side of the bridge, where people from
rival sides would fight until falling into the canal
Nice...
Camille, Luca and pomodori
Canals and maybe Corto was here?
Altana and algae
Luca's trying to walk, Pedro's trying to pause hihihi
Well, with a chair it is easier
View from the Accademia bridge
Tourists... everywhere...
Piazza San Marco view from the tower Campanile
Corto was definitively here
Roooar pour rugir de plaisir
Corto es tu la?
And above all the beautiful smell of Jasmin all around us...
Tres enivrant
Roooar
Pour Gege et Domi
A gondola is hiding
After being naughy when I was collapsing due to hypoglycemia,
(stripped top) as no woman are officially gondolianer.
We told you they were everywhere... look at the mess
Marghera from the train between Venezia
and Mestre on our way home
